SHR Group, Inc. executed a comprehensive exterior restoration project at 400 East 56th Street, New York, NY, a multi-unit residential tower. This multi-phased endeavor focused on extensive repairs across the property. The scope of work included a Local Law 11 inspection and repairs, shelf angle replacement with waterproofing, facebrick reconstruction in selected areas, 100% sealant replacement, windowsill replacement, travertine storefront repairs with restoration and cleaning, sheet metal water table repairs, roof repairs, setback roofs and penthouse roof waterproofing using Siplast MBM and fluid-applied membranes, parapet reconstruction, new railing installation, plaza repairs (1st Avenue) and courtyard repairs with waterproof membrane installation (fluid-applied Kemper membrane), pavers and planters installation, parapet reconstruction, rear courtyard repairs, fire escape replacement, garden drainage installation, and new concrete walkways and stairs. These efforts ensured the structural integrity, weatherproofing, and aesthetic enhancement of the tower.
